MANUFACTURING SERVICE TECHNICIAN – Mechanical – 12 month contract
Salary: £27.90 (inside)
Location: Barnoldswick
My client is a global defence and aerospace leader, and due to new business contacts they seek a Maintenance Technician to join their team on an initial 12 month contract.
As a Maintenance Technician you will be doing:
- Perform a range of routine, reactive, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance tasks
- Installations, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on mechanically bias machines
- Ability to perform alignment and geometry checks
- Utilise hand tools and test equipment to deliver customer requirements.
- Coordinate workload and mechanical activities with customers
- Work with site Manufacturing Engineers to help understand and restore equipment
- Work to control standards and procedures
Experience and skillset – Maintenance Technician
- MUST HAVE completed an advanced modern engineering apprenticeship and an NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
- Good understanding of Maintenance operations and fault finding
- Basic IT literacy and ability to work to engineering drawings.
