Are you a commercially astute contracts or legal professional with a background in manufacturing and a knack for keeping complex projects on track?
We’re working with a leading organisation in the offshore renewables sector to find a Project Contract Specialist who thrives in a fast paced, delivery focused environment. This is a client facing role supporting major offshore wind projects from a contracts and commercial perspective, with a strong emphasis on supply-side operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Acting as the contractual conscience of the project team, ensuring frameworks are followed and risks are mitigated.
- Supporting Project Managers across a portfolio of high value projects, often requiring negotiation with third party providers.
- Managing disputes, claims, and contractual correspondence with precision and professionalism.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders including Legal, Supply Chain, and Services, and externally with clients and installers.
- Reporting into a senior leader who values autonomy, accountability, and commercial rigour.
What We’re Looking For
- Someone with a tenacious approach, confident in pushing back, and skilled in stakeholder management.
- Strong experience in commercial contracts, ideally with exposure to manufacturing and/or renewables.
- Background could be legal, commercial, or engineering, what matters is your ability to navigate complex contracts and drive outcomes.
- Comfortable working across Hartlepool and Newcastle, with flexibility on location.
