Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Logistics Manager to join our client, a global moving and relocation provider. As the Logistics Manager, you will lead end-to-end logistics and warehousing functions across the UK.
This position is central to ensuring smooth day-to-day movement of household goods, effective subcontractor oversight, and the efficient use of storage resources.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate daily logistics activities, ensuring streamlined processes and high service reliability.
- Oversee third-party logistics partners and ensure alignment with agreed standards, contracts, and company policies.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and on-site reviews to assess compliance and identify gaps.
- Supervise inbound and outbound logistics operations, including accurate inventory tracking and packaging readiness.
- Optimize warehouse space and resource utilization to support both operational needs and commercial storage opportunities.
- Source, onboard, and develop subcontractor networks with a focus on performance, claims reduction, and customer service.
- Monitor service delivery through KPIs, feedback loops, and regular evaluations.
- Maintain strict adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards (e.g., ISO9001, ISO14001, etc.).
- Support external audits and internal process reviews, ensuring up-to-date documentation and risk controls.
- Work in close partnership with other internal departments (e.g., Freight, Customer Care) to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Respond to service issues and complaints with a focus on resolution and long-term process improvement.
Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or household goods moving and relocation services.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage third-party providers.
- Proven background in warehouse operations and freight/customs coordination.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust across diverse teams.
- Hands-on experience with operational software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with compliance and quality frameworks, particularly ISO certifications.
- Exposure to international logistics operations or cross-border regulations is highly preferred
