Job Description
- Training period: Monday–Friday, 7 am – 3 pm.
- Shift pattern (Oct 2025 –May 2026): 12-hour shifts – 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off.
We’re working with a leading manufacturer whose innovative products are supplied worldwide. They’re looking for an experienced Production Operator to join their production team, operating cutting-edge automated systems and keeping things moving in a busy, safety-focused environment.This is a hands-on role that combines production operations, forklift truck work, and working closely with other departments to make sure everything runs smoothly.What you’ll be doing:
- Operating an automated production plant using SCADA systems.
- Loading/unloading goods, materials, and road tankers using an FLT.
- Following SOPs and manufacturing processes to maintain quality standards.
- Liaising with colleagues across multiple departments by phone, email, and in person.
- Keeping your work area clean, safe, and well-organised.
- Adhering to all health & safety and quality procedures.
What we’re looking for:
- A valid FLT licence and proven forklift experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial setting.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive approach, able to work with minimal supervision.
- Good housekeeping skills and attention to detail.
- Computer literacy and ability to use production systems
