Job Description
Maintenance Operative – Norwich
Contract Personnel are looking for a Junior Engineer for a well-established manufacturing company in Norwich.
How does the day-to-day look?
- Maintaining window and door fabrication machinery
- Sorting out breakdowns as and when they occur to ensure production can continue
- Carrying out emergency repairs
- Moving and recalibrating kit
- PPM
- Cleaning down machinery
- Assisting with welding/ fabrication work
- Site maintenance
You will have:
- Previous engineering/maintenance experience
- A solid understanding of electrical systems is essential, with a preference for candidates who possess strong mechanical expertise.
- Ability to methodically diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, using analytical thinking to determine the root cause and implement effective solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in working with mechanical equipment, ensuring functionality and performance through detailed inspection and repairs.
- Keen ability to assess equipment and systems, identifying potential issues and inefficiencies before they result in failure.
