Estate / Property Manager Job – Prestbury Cheshire – starting at £45,000+
Exclusively to Greycoat Lumleys, our client is looking for an experienced Estate / Property Manager to look after a large period property on a small estate in Prestbury, Cheshire. The property has been renovated to a high standard over recent years, and the client is looking for a hands on and practical person who can oversee and manage all property and estate management and maintenance tasks.
Your main role will be to ensure that all buildings on the property are maintained to the correct standard following a schedule of maintenance works. This will involve booking the required contractors, overseeing them as well as being hands on with more general day to day maintenance issues. Candidates will ideally come from a trades background and be IT literate.
You will need to be a problem solver and be able to work under your own initiative, overseeing a small team of household staff and reporting directly to the property owner.
Duties will include:
- Managing and carrying out all property and estate maintenance tasks
- Being hands on with property and estate maintenance and working outdoors
- Budgeting and obtaining quotes for works needed
- Organising and overseeing trades and contractors
- Coordinating works with other members of the household team
- Professional management of the estate
- Auditing and assessment of current suppliers
- Maintaining records of service logs, guarantees, invoices and other relevant information
- Be responsible for the security of the estate
