About the role
Luminous is seeking a motivated Investor Communications & ESG Intern to join our team for a three-month paid internship. This is an exciting opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in investor communications, ESG research and corporate reporting. You’ll work closely with our Investor Communications and ESG team, contributing to research, analysis, and strategic projects while developing a strong foundation in corporate sustainability and financial communications.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis on ESG frameworks, including IFRS 1 & 2, CSRD, TNFD, and the UK Corporate Governance Code.
- Support the review and benchmarking of corporate reporting for best-practice insights.
- Assist in building and maintaining a research database to support investor communications.
- Participate in training sessions on corporate reporting standards and digital reporting tools such as ChatGPT.
- Collaborate with team members on corporate reporting and investor engagement strategies and best practices.
- Receive mentorship and regular feedback to support learning and career development.
Who we\’re looking for
- Current student or recent graduate in Finance, Business, Sustainability, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with an interest in ESG, investor relations, or corporate governance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) – familiarity with digital tools such as ChatGPT is a plus.
