Job Description
Finance Lead – CleanTech scaleup
Hybrid working – West End + WFH
£100/120k + options
Talentedge are proud to be exclusively partnering with rapid scale ClimateTech business on a Finance Lead position, reporting into an exceptional CFOO.
As Finance Lead, you’ll work in close partnership with the extremely passionate & ambitious Co-Founders as well as wider C-Suite on scaling the business.
You’ll be amazing for this role if you are as commercial as you are technical, have a high passion for ClimateTech & love startups!
Key responsibilities:
- Own the day-to-day finance function, including all financial reporting and transactional finance
- Continue to roll out key scalable processes, controls and systems, utilising technology to automate
- Prepare strategic, commercial and financial objectives for the business
- Continue to evolve and own all financial models (revenue pipeline, multi scenarios etc, inventory forecasting)
- Ensure procurement needs are accurately projected with a clear and auditable methodology
- Business partner cross-functionally, in particular with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Distribution and external partners
- Partner CFOO on future VC fundraising rounds
Profile:
- Qualified accountant
- Experience of working within a heavily-CAPEX focussed startup / scaleup
- Strategic and inquisitive thinker who is happy rolling their sleeves up
- Strong analytical and data visualisation skills with advanced Excel (minimum expectation being capable of building 3-way integrated financial models)
- Xero + wider ecosystem of apps exposure
