A very early stage start-up based in Gothenburg is looking for a design-orientated Founding Frontend Developer with a can-do attitude.
Their MVP has been established and but now they are looking to redesign and rebuild the platform. Their goal is to reduce product waste.
The Role:
As a Founding Frontend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, maintaining and securing their products to drive connectivity. This role involves coding, setting development standards, and ensuring solutions are delightful to use, reliable, performant and scalable.
- Build and produce designs incorporating animations, transitions, and other interactive elements.
- Work on the frontend design system that supports high-visibility mission-critical projects.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other key stakeholders.
- Own and lead projects, support other frontend engineers, advocate for technical and process improvements, mentor junior engineers, and follow best practices.
Experience:
Must:
- Strong React, Vue, JavaScript, CSS and HTML (more generalist frontend than expert in a specific language).
- Design orientated – must have an eye for delivering high-quality UX.
- Worked at a start-up (less than 50 people).
Nice:
- At least 6 years of engineering experience.
- Working experience with RESTful API and GraphQL.
- A thorough understanding of engineering best practices from appropriate testing paradigms
