A well-established, design-led architectural practice based in central Oxford is looking for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant or Junior Architectural Technician to join their team on a contract basis. Initially offered as a 3-month appointment, the role has the potential to become permanent depending on the needs of the practice and the ambitions of the successful candidate.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at an early stage in their architectural career to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and relaxed studio environment. The practice has a strong track record of delivering large-scale, technically complex projects across healthcare, education, science, and commercial sectors β offering exposure to high-profile work and a wide range of design challenges.
The ideal candidate will:
Have completed their RIBA Part 2 or hold a relevant technical qualification in architecture or construction
Be confident using AutoCAD and Revit (or willing to develop their skills in BIM environments)
Have strong design and/or technical drawing skills, with attention to detail
Be a good communicator and comfortable working within a close-knit, collaborative team
Be based in or near Oxford, and available to work in-office full-time
