Fitness Manager – Premium Health Club
West London
£40k – £42k plus bonus and potential PT income
I am recruiting for a fantastic fitness job in West London for one of London's leading fitness clubs in the Health & Fitness sector. This is an incredibly exciting business. This is a fitness job not to be missed.
We're looking for a Fitness Manager who will lead from the front and by example, who will relish the chance to assist in club operations and be on hand to develop the team and aid in growing the business. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Health and Fitness but also really likes making a difference in people’s lives and the community. We want our whole team to strive to deliver the best customer service and to motivate our members to lead healthier and happier lives.
Key Points:
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate and lead a team, deliver annual budgets as well as oversee the day-to-day operational management of their site and staff. You will need to show entrepreneurial flair and an ability to react to a very challenging and ever-changing competitive market. You will be constantly looking for ways to improve the business and challenging staff to do better. As a multi deparment manager you will need to be highly organised.
What does the role entail?
- Setting and achievement of the clubs budgets.
- Development of a strong and cohesive team through training, goal setting and coaching
- Recruitment of strong PT team
- Assess club quality of classes and manage accordingly
- Compliance with Health and Safety standards and the ability to improve audit scores.
What we are looking for?
- 1 year’s management within the fitness industry minimum
- You must be a strong leader, with excellent communication skills and be passionate about wellbeing/activity.
- A passion for health and wellbeing
- Personal Training Qualified
If you have an excellent level of knowledge of the fitness industry and how best to provide outstanding member and guest experience. Great communication skills, and the ability to use different systems. You will have a natural ability to meet set targets and deadlines. You will be a real self-motivated team player with a can-do attitude.
