What You Will Do
Johnson Controls is hiring a Fire Alarm Service Engineer for an on-site role at a power plant in Ashford, Kent. We are seeking a candidate with strong experience in fire alarm systems and a willingness to learn and train towards gas suppression qualifications. You will join a dedicated team responsible for the servicing and maintenance of fire detection and gas suppression systems, with a strong focus on safety and compliance with site standards. Daily client interaction is required to ensure smooth operations and adherence to nuclear site protocols.

How You Will Do It
Service and maintain fire detection systems, with training provided to support development in suppression systems
Complete on-site documentation accurately
Attend mandatory training
Liaise with clients to obtain permits to work
Occasionally support with mechanical and passive fire protection tasks
Provide on-call cover on a rotating weekly basis
Promptly identify and report health and safety concerns
Adhere to site-specific quality and safety standards
Represent Johnson Controls with professionalism, accountability, and inclusivity
