Here at Blueprint recruitment, we have a brilliant opportunity for a driven Bridge Engineer to join a leading highways service provider on a 6-month contract basis. Our client provides the flexibility for the successful candidate to work on a fully remote basis, with travel to Essex sites when required. You will have the opportunity to work with committed Engineers and planners on a range of sectors, including, Rail, Highways, Bridges and Structures.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for project delivery and undertaking a technical lead role on a variety of bridge and structural related projects
- Lead and guide teams on tasks such as structural analysis, feasibility studies, tender designs, detailed designs
- Production of contract documents and technical reports.
- Oversee bridge projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Apply your knowledge of bridge engineering principles and codes to develop efficient and innovative solutions.
- Ensure that all bridge designs and analyses adhere to industry standards and safety regulations.
- Interact with clients to understand project requirements, provide updates, and address their concerns.
Key requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Strong experience in Bridge engineering or civil structures
- RC Experience and chartered
- Proficiency in bridge analysis software such as Midas, or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of industry standards and codes.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safety and quality in engineering practices.
