Overview
Pipe layers mate – Epsom, Surrey – £13 to £15 per hour – Ongoing – Monday to Friday – 9.5 hour day
Zeal Recruitment are working with a well-known Civil Engineering business who are looking for a Pipe layers mate to work on a residential project in Epsom on an ongoing basis; for the right person.
As the Pipe layers mate you will be reporting to the Project Manager.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating and working within your team
- Ensuring work is carried out safely
- The range of work will include Earthworks, muckaway, drainage, kerbing, and you will assist the Pipelayer and he his help in hand on any tasks
- Ensure all minor and major construction work is completed in accordance with the required specification and standards
- Use all materials in accordance with safe working practices, including manual handling and the COSHH regulations
- Wear the uniform/PPE at all times to ensure personal safety and to promote the partnership
- Maintain good working relationships with the general public and clients
- Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues to promote the service and enhance and improve service delivery
- Complete all jobs within set performance targets and arrange work schedules to meet deadline completion dates
