Job Description

Project Management Officer (PMO) Broughton£37.02 per hourinitially 12 months1-stage interviewMon-Fri (flexible working hours) Advantage Resourcing is working in partnership with a leading organisation seeking a Project Management Officer to join the manufacturing engineering department. The successful candidate will be motivated and passionate about maximising and driving best-practice project management governance, methods, and tools across manufacturing engineering, with a primary focus in the wide-body manufacturing engineering area. What will you be doing?
  • Provide expert project management support, ensuring robust governance, structures, and practices are applied.
  • Work closely with manufacturing project leaders to plan, track, and deliver projects successfully.
  • Promote best-practice project management through coaching, training, and process improvement.
  • Tailor PM methods and tools to project needs, ensuring alignment with standards.
  • Manage stakeholder communication, supporting collaboration across projects and operations.
  • Champion Agile ways of working, acting as Scrum Master when required.
  • Create and maintain end-to-end project plans, baselines, and EVM milestones.
  • Monitor performance, analyse deviations, and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead risk and opportunity management, maintaining the R&O register.

  • Strong project management expertise, ideally in engineering/manufacturing (wide-body experience a plus).
  • Skilled communicator able to coach, influence, and manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Agile/Scrum knowledge (Scrum Master experience desirable).
  • Proficient in EVM, performance tracking, and analytical reporting.
