We are are working with a specialist SEND school for primary aged pupils with complex needs and Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) are looking for a Teaching Assistants to join them for day to day supply/part-time work.

We are currently working with a Special Needs school in South West London who have an opportunity for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join their school as soon as possible.

The Role 

In this role you will be working in a class with primary age pupils with profound multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). This role will involve supporting learning and development activities specifically designed for the pupils in the class and providing some care support. The college uses a sensory curriculum and there are opportunities for teaching assistants to be involved in planning and delivering creative activities.

The school are looking for a teaching assistant who is very confident and open to provide care and support to young children with this level of complex needs.

The school are open to applications from Special Needs Teaching Assistants with previous experience or care settings, or passionate and committed individuals looking to enter the sector.

The School 

This specialist primary school is for children aged 2 to 11 with severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), Autism (ASD) and complex medical needs. The school provides an outstanding learning environment that meets the needs of all pupils, while empowering and inspiring them to achieve their full potential. There is an established and dedicated staff team at the school who are committed to supporting both the children and their families. You will have access to regular training and development opportunities within your role.
