Our client
A top tier global media and entertainment business is seeking a Senior Counsel to report to the GC.
The position
An exciting role with a great deal of variety and breadth across the business both domestically and internationally.
Key responsibilities
- Working with commercial stakeholders on growth strategy and opportunities.
- Supporting a variety of strategic commercial and corporate agreements.
- Working with creative contracts and looking at rights and IP, as well as production agreements.
Experience requirements
- 5 years or more experience at a major law firm or an in-house legal department is required.
- Strong academic background
- Able to work with good degree of autonomy
- Consummate team player with excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism to interact well with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness, conviction, and willingness to provide considered, practical and calibrated advice.
