A great opportunity to join a fast growing E Payments business in London. Reporting to the Payments Supervisor and Head of Operations, the payments analyst will be assisting with the day-to-day processing of payments, FX booking, reporting and accounts reconciliation.
Role responsibilities:
• Process UK payments– BACS, CHAPS and Faster Payments (Incoming and Outgoing)
• Process international payments (Incoming and Outgoing).
• SWIFT Payments via SWIFT Alliance Lite2 (MT103, MT199)
• FX booking
• Monitor card payments
• Second check and authorize manually entered or repaired incoming and outgoing domestic and international payments.
• Liaise with Relationship Managers and directly with clients with regards to rejected and exception items and required documentation
• Communicate with clients in regard to payments and account queries
• Assist the Compliance department with transaction monitoring
• Archive daily records and documentation
• Undertake payment investigations on behalf of clients under management supervision
• Maintain existing and create new procedural documentation.
• Resolve any issues in order to limit client dissatisfaction and possible lost revenues.
• Assist with treasury and reconciliation
• Work with Counterparty Banks in order to confirm and investigate outstanding items. Skills and requirements:
