Elevation Recruitment HR are proud to be working with a well known brand seeking a HR Advisor to join their Transport Division on a full time, permanent basis at their site in Wakefield / Rotherham.

The role will be a mix of providing generalist HR advice and guidance to managers and supporting projects. You will have ideally worked within a logistics, manufacturing, retail, FMCG or similarly fast paced commercial environment. You should be able to demonstrate successful and effective relationships with managers, effectively communicating and influencing managers where necessary.
As a HR Advisor, your role will include:
- Providing advice and support to managers in all aspects of HR
- Managing an employee relations caseload surrounding sickness absence, investigations, disciplinaries and grievances
- Working closely with senior managers to develop their capability dealing with HR issues
- Ensure managers update with legislative changes and interpret changes on the business
- Supporting with regular project work surrounding employee engagement and talent management
- Maintain a good relationship with Union Reps
- Support the 24 hour operations by occasional attending an early morning or night shift subject to caseload
To be suitable for this role, ideally you will be CIPD qualified with a strong knowledge of employment legislation and must you must be able to travel across to a local site.
