Our client is looking for an experienced Environment Enforcement Team Leader.
You are an experienced manager/team leader who will lead the Environmental Enforcement Team, a group of dedicated officers committed to keeping Southwark s streets clean and safe.
Your role will be pivotal in tackling a variety of environmental crimes, including fly-tipping, graffiti, and illegal waste management. Fly-tipping, in particular, has risen across the borough, and a significant portion of the team’s resources is dedicated to combating this growing problem.
As the lead for the team, you have expert knowledge and experience of various enviro-crimes issues and will be responsible for the planning and allocation of resources, setting the direction, and ensuring the team is focused on delivering high-impact, sustainable outcomes.
Your work will help improve the borough s NI195 graffiti score, coordinate with waste management services, and enhance the effectiveness of our enforcement actions across Regulatory Services.
