I\’m looking for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer in the Stoke area. Were working closely to identify an engineer that is qualified to a minimum level 3 in an engineering discipline. You will be part of a big multi-disciplined maintenance team on a continental shift rota. They will offer you a great package starting at £51,400 + shift cover premiums and OT. They also offer an extensive benefits package including a matched pension of up to 10% and training courses such as mech to elec and PLC training.
My client is a British firm that operates across the UK for a wider group, and they can offer you a secure position packed with benefits during an uncertain period.
This role will be a Fixed Term Contract for 6-months with a strong possibility of a full-time contract.
Maintenance Engineer Benefits:

Maintenance Engineer Duties include:
- Continental shift (2 days 2 nights).
- Assist with breakdowns.
- Planned and reactive maintenance.

- Continuous improvement projects.
Maintenance Engineer Requirements include:
- Recognised engineering qualifications. (NVQ Level 3 as minimum).
- Electrical qualifications would be a bonus.
- Apprentice trained.
- FMCG experience.
- Knowledge around pneumatics.
- Knowledge with packaging machinery (advantageous).
