Health and Safety Manager – CASTLE DONNINGTON £370 – £400 per day (Outside IR35) 90% Working on the ground Initial 6 – month contract (Chance of long term extension) NEBOSH, CSCS White Card Required & First Aid Must of had experience working for a Principal contractor You will be responsible for the following. Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures. Manage and implement new hire induction safety training. Customer return and complaints. Performing and recording, monitoring, analysis, improvements and governance. Site Responsibility and Management of Contractors Problem solving 8D’s, 5 Whys. Continuous improvement activities. The candidate must possess the following skills to be considered for this role: NEBOSH General certificate (IOSH as a minimum) Proven / demonstrable H&S managerial experience on medium to large construction sites (+100 workers). Sound knowledge and understanding of Principal Contractor duties and CDM:2015 regulations. Experience in industrial trades such as Mechanical / Structural engineering (Desirable) Support & coordinate onsite inductions and onboarding processes. Proactive in review of EHS Plans, Policies and driving implementation of SoW’s alongside the execution team. Provide functional support to the Site Management, implementing the One Dematic management system effectively. Lead incident investigation and reporting for the site EHS performance Qualifications: NEBOSH CSCS Card minimum, Black/White Card desirable First Aid CDM Awareness Training Temporary Works (Desirable) The benefits of this position: Competitive Daily rates.
