Allen Lane are supporting a London Borough in their search for a System Support Analyst on a permanent basis. In this role, you will support the Oracle Fusion HCM and payroll system, engaging with key business areas, advising on best practices, and working with the support partner to deal with incidents and system changes. Please note that this is initially a remote position. As a System Support Analyst you will: Act as the SME on Oracle Fusion ensuring the council obtains the best value from the product. Advise and guide senior management and users in the application of Oracle Fusion functionality, including regular updates, to direct and influence strategy, system use, and adoption. Ensure that the advice and guidance from 3rd party suppliers in relation to specific Oracle Fusion modules is understood, verified, and adopted to meet Council business requirements and budgets. Operate as the Oracle Fusion technical lead for related projects and changes for specific module/s. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure system project deliverables are met. Design and configure a specific Oracle Fusion module/s in the live environment. Engage in Agile development practices and meetings as well as good test and release practice for the continual development of Oracle Fusion. Undertake system integration testing, support UAT processes, and functional representatives in the completion of testing. Create and deploy reports using OBIE, MS SQL, and other reporting tools. Key Skills required Ensure that all requests for support are dealt with according to set standards and procedures. Have significant experience with Oracle Fusion & MS SQL. Draft and maintain procedures and documentation for applications support. Manage application enhancements to improve business performance. Advise on application security, licensing, upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery needs. Ensure that service delivery meets agreed service levels. Negotiate service level requirements and agreed service levels with users. Diagnose service delivery problems and initiate actions to maintain or improve levels of service. Establish and maintain operational methods. What you get in return A salary between £47,000 – £51,522 plus a range of benefits including the local government pension scheme.
