The predicted salary is between 48000 - 52000 £ per year.

Salary £60000.00 – £65000.00 per annum per year

Our client is a PE backed business on a growth journey to behold.

Working as part of a highly effective finance team, this is a newly created role for technically astute ACCA post-qualified accountant.

This role will have responsibility for ensuring that the balance sheet is robust and duties will include

  • Managing a team of three
  • Preparation of financial statements according to UK GAAP / IFRS regulations
  • Producing statutory accounts
  • Working closely with external auditors at year end providing relevant documentation
  • Ensuring the month end close process is completed in a timely manner
  • Balance sheet account reconciliation
  • Group reporting
  • Reviewing internal controls and processes and putting in place improvements as appropriate
  • Assisting with cashflow forecasting and treasury management

This role will be integral to the continued robustness of the balance sheet and as such it presents an excellent opportunity for someone to put their stamp on a business that is truly going places.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in a financial accounting role and ideally of managing / leading a team. You will likely have trained in practice and be looking for your second move within industry and this position certainly does offer excellent scope for continued career development.

As well as being ACCA post-qualified, the right person will have advanced IT skills, notably in Excel and ideally experience working with ERP systems.
