Right now, due to our continued growth plans, we are looking for an Internal Sales Executive to join our growing Building Supplies business on a permanent contract at our store in Queenborough, Isle of Sheppey, Kent. About The Role… As our Internal Sales Executive, you’ll play a vital role in driving sales and supporting our team by providing excellent customer service to trade and retail customers. You will be responsible for responding to customer enquiries, offering tailored advice on building materials, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. You will also work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets and business goals, while developing strong relationships with existing customers and identifying new business opportunities. Additionally, you will manage stock queries, maintain product knowledge, and stay up-to-date with industry trends to ensure you’re always providing the best service. What you’ll need… We want passionate and enthusiastic professionals who have previous experience in an internal sales role within a timber, builders’ merchant, or distributor. You’ll need to possess strong customer service and communication skills, with a personable and professional approach to customer interactions. Excellent negotiation skills and a proven ability to meet sales targets are essential. You should also have a solid knowledge of building materials and the ability to provide expert advice. A detail-oriented and results-driven attitude, along with a team-player mindset, will help you thrive in this role.
