St. Paul’s C of E Primary School is seeking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, with a desire to ensure that all children receive high quality education and care. You should have a positive mindset, the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents and staff, be flexible and be able to work on your own initiative.

Role Overview:

We are looking to appoint a dedicated, eager and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team working in our second resource base class, which opens in September 2025, providing targeted one-to-one support for children with SEND, contributing to the development and delivery of SEN plans, assisting with benchmarking and assessing reading small group interventions. Contribute to the creation and review of SEN plans and reports. Maintain high standards of spoken and written English when communicating with staff, parents, and children.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
