Volunteer to help Sue Ryder be there when it matters. As a Furniture and DIY Volunteer in our Sue Ryder charity shop in Lincoln, you will be able to support us to display, build and sell furniture.

We have a busy furniture department! We are very fortunate with the amazing furniture donations we receive. But – we really need some Furniture and DIY volunteers who can help us weekly at the shop. This role will include moving furniture (note heavy lifting involved), helping to display them in store – and to help customers who wish to buy them.

For those of you with DIY skills, we also have a range of furniture that needs building each week – this would suit a person who can clearly understand written instructions and has some experience with building flat pack items.

If you can help us for a few hours (or more!) each week, we would love to hear from you and offer you a taster session. Join us and become one of the store’s friendly faces who will help us to provide the best customer experience whilst playing an important role in raising funds for our charity work.
