Clark Wood have been instructed on a Managerial level opportunity for a nationally recognised large regional firm in Bristol, which offers the chance to focus on interesting advisory work for a mixed portfolio of tax clients.
This role would ideally suit a CTA Qualified experienced Assistant Manager or current Manager from a small, mid-tier or large firm, who has experience managing a department and also a large complex portfolio of tax clients.
The main client base for this role would be SMEs & OMBs and some international groups in the Bristol and wider South West region.
The ideal candidate must have good technical skills and experience, and have a thorough understanding of UK tax issues.
The team deals with a broad range of business and corporate tax issues, including business reorganisations, reconstructions and demergers, share schemes and EIS/SEIS, R&D tax credits, patent box claims, M&A, exit planning, and succession planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high level advisory & planning services with a great deal of autonomy.
- Business development and networking: develop client services and grow tax portfolio.
- Increase awareness & exposure of the firm\’s tax services.
This Central Bristol office is commutable from areas all across Bristol, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Bath, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Taunton, etc.
Minimum Requirements:
- CTA/ ACA Qualified.
- Proven track record of Business Development.
- Experience within an Assistant Manager, Manager, or Senior Manager level role.
