The Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager of People & Organization, The Human Resource Business Partner\’s primary responsibility is to provide People function support to the business. You will play an important role in the execution of People priorities and deliverables within the defined People strategy. You will advocate for the team member experience at all stages of the team member life-cycle. You will also partner and collaborate with other People and Organization Partners and Managers in the delivery of People solutions. You will support three Fulfillment Centers in the West Chester, Ohio area and one Fulfillment Center in Goodyear, Arizona, supporting 400 to 600 regular and seasonal team members.
Your Impact
- Business contact for the People (HR) function and partnering with relevant COEs.
- Respond to and resolve Team Member relations issues, including investigations and advising on corrective actions.
- Contact for People solutions and important People deliverables.
- Advocate for the team member lifecycle through support of and execution of pre-boarding, retention, off-boarding activities, local Health and Wellbeing programs and activities.
- Deliver coaching to Managers and Supervisors that ensures an engaging team member experience.
- Travel on a quarterly basis.
- Other responsibilities, and activities as assigned.
What You Bring
- A Bachelor\’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent business experience is required.
- 3+ years of total business experience in areas of Human Resources is required.
- HR experience within a Distribution/Fulfillment Center.
- You have previous generalist experience as an HR Advisor / Partner operating at a level of guiding / influencing leaders.
- Experience with a range of People disciplines with the ability to use People data to inform deliverable.
- Demonstrate willingness to assume additional tasks other than assigned.
- Consult across function/market areas and with all organizational levels.
