The Coordinator of Student Services provides support within Auburn Abroad Office of Auburn University under the supervision of the Auburn Abroad Assistant Director.
Temporary Employment Services ( TES ), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being:
- Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time
- Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads
- Assistance with special projects
- Seasonal work

Essential Functions
1. Performs multiple administrative and clerical duties, including, serving as the initial greeter at the front desk, managing and triaging the general office email and phone, appointment and event scheduling, providing basic/initial support with travel registrations, and data gathering/collecting.
2. Liaises with campus partners as needed to complete administrative duties.
3. Assist as needed with office marketing and technology tasks or projects including presentations, classroom visits, and/or liaising with OIP’s internal communication unit for the creation of promotional marketing materials.
4. Help prepare, provide support during, and assist with event follow ups including student orientations.
5. Advises students on their application materials and provides guidance during events and presentations

Bachelor’s degree in discipline appropriate to position with no experience.
Desired Qualifications
Experience in education, administration, or with study/living/working abroad is preferred.
