Overview

Join the team as a Mechanical Engineer at HMP Rochester, a Cat C Mens prison. The role focuses on maintaining safe and secure environment.

Responsibilities

Work alongside experienced Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators to support prison operations.

Qualifications

  • Two years’ experience as a plumber or equivalent.
  • Familiar with Water Supply Regulation and Legionella L8 requirements.
  • Experience with commercial or industrial heating and water systems.
  • Good working knowledge of health and safety requirements.
  • Plumbing qualifications C&G 6035, C&G 6189, NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.
