Are you passionate about creating innovative and accessible web experiences? We have an exciting opportunity for a Front-End Developer to join our dynamic and inclusive Digital Channels team in Leeds, with flexible hybrid working.

About the role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to –

Develop engaging and innovative features for our websites

Transform design mock-ups into visually stunning web experience

Ensure the technical feasibility of UX / UI designs

Write high-performance front-end code that adheres to team standards and industry best practices

Review the work of other developers to maintain quality standards

We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in a similar role (Front-End Developer, Web Developer). You will be able to demonstrate

Proven industry experience in React and related technologies, such as React Router, Redux

Proven industry experience with TypeScript and JavaScript

Proficiency in effective use of HTML5 and CSS3

Proficiency in unit testing using Jest

Expertise in Responsive Web Design with a history of building engaging websites

Ability to write well-structured, maintainable front-end code

Knowledge of web standards, accessibility requirements and WCAG standards

Understanding of SEO best practices
