Baker – Nights
Night Baker
Paddock Wood, Kent
Salary: £31,200 rising to £33,800 after successful probation
Hours:
Sunday to Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
Thursday: 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM
Friday: 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM
(Includes one rotated day off during the week)
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Night Baker to join a hardworking team at a well-established bakery in Paddock Wood, Kent.
If you\’re passionate about baking high-quality bread and pastries, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy working through the night, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
– Preparing, mixing, and baking a wide variety of Bread etc to a high standard
– Working to production schedules and ensuring consistent product quality
– Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards in the bakery
– Operating and maintaining bakery equipment
– Supporting the team with dough preparation, shaping, baking, and finishing
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a professional baker, ideally in a commercial or artisan environment
– Good understanding of traditional and modern baking techniques
– Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dedicated team
– Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Physically fit – this is a hands-on role that involves standing, lifting, and working at a pace
