Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Landscape Architect to join their design team. You will play a pivotal role in creating bespoke, sustainable garden and outdoor space designs for a variety of clients. You will work on both residential and commercial projects, managing the design process from initial concept through to completion., * Lead the design process for a variety of landscape projects, including garden designs, public spaces, and commercial developments

  • Create detailed landscape designs, including plant selection, hardscape elements, and sustainability features

  • Work closely with clients to understand their vision and needs, delivering designs that meet their expectations

  • Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and material schedules

  • Conduct site assessments and surveys, considering factors like terrain, climate, and existing structures

  • Collaborate with the project management and construction teams to ensure designs are executed accurately and efficiently

  • Stay current with industry trends, materials, and sustainable practices to incorporate innovative solutions into designs

  • Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring designs are delivered on time and within financial parameters

  • Oversee the implementation of designs, providing guidance and expertise throughout the construction process

  • Work closely with external contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure high-quality results

  • Liaise with local authorities and planning departments as necessary to ensure compliance with regulations and planning permissions

  • Provide technical advice and support to junior staff and other team members

  • Proven experience as a Landscape Architect, with a portfolio demonstrating a range of completed projects

  • Strong knowledge of sustainable design practices and eco-friendly materials

  • Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools

  • Ability to create detailed technical drawings and concept designs

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, contractors, and the team

  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling

  • A relevant degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field

  • Chartered Landscape Architect status (CMLI) is preferred but not essential

  • Knowledge of UK planning policies, building regulations, and health and safety standards

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Full, clean UK driving licence is essential
