We need a UX Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with project and product teams to design intuitive, user-centered digital experiences. You will work on design, strategy, and research efforts across a variety of projects, ensuring that the end-user is at the heart of every decision. As a UX consultant, you will be expected to bring a strategic approach to UX and work with multiple teams and disciplines, bring innovative ideas to from initial concepts to implementation and improve existing products.

Role accountabilities:

  • UX Design & Strategy:

  • Create user-centered, intuitive designs balancing user needs, business requirements and implementation realities.

  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.

  • Design information architecture, user journeys, product flows and interaction models for complex digital solutions.

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Insights:

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and problems.

  • Synthesize customer and business findings into actionable insights, communicate findings effectively to stakeholders and build consensus around designs.

  • Develop personas, user journeys, and scenarios to guide design decisions.

  • Advocate for best practices in user experience design while balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

  • Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Lead workshops and design sprints to solve complex user problems.

  • Work closely with product and solution functions, and stakeholders to define and refine project goals and deliverables.

  • Collaborate with other designers across the organization and to provide insight and guidance in UX methodologies, documentation and ownership.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are feasible and meet business goals.

  • Advocacy & Thought Leadership:

  • Be a champion for user experience across the organization, educating internal teams on UX best practices and the importance of user-centered design.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and methodologies to ensure the UX team is at the forefront of design innovation.

  • 3+ years’ experience in a professional UX design role with a strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of projects, from research to final design implementation.

  • Experience leading design efforts on complex, large-scale enterprise products, preferably in multiple industries or domains.

  • Proven ability to design and deliver intuitive and impactful user experiences.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional, agile teams.

  • Experience in digital transformation projects or enterprise-level design initiatives.

  • Familiarity with UX research methodologies (e.g., user interviews, usability testing, surveys, heuristic evaluations).

  • Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, etc.) and prototyping tools.

  • Familiarity working and maintaining design systems and component libraries., A degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience., Strong knowledge of UX design principles, usability heuristics, and accessibility standards.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and rationale to non-design stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear and actionable design solutions.

  • Ability to lead and mentor a team, guiding junior designers while still being hands-on in design execution.

  • Knowledge of front-end development processes (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus but not required.
