Join to apply for the Retail Cleaner role at Arcus FM. Immediate start is available. 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £13.19. Part-time in Sainsbury\’s Harrogate store.
Role: Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week and Arcus offers various shift patterns with 5- and 6-day working options. Current shift pattern for this role includes early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current schedule is:
- Sunday: 06:00 to 09:00
- Monday: 05:00 to 08:00
- Tuesday: 05:00 to 08:00
- Wednesday: 05:00 to 08:00
- Thursday: Day off
- Friday: 05:00 to 08:00
- Saturday: 05:00 to 08:00
You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime. Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsbury’s stores.
Responsibilities
- Operating machinery
- Carrying out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to keep stores clean
- In-store cleaning of toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies
- Outdoor work such as keeping trolley bays clean and free of leaves and debris
- Ensuring all health and safety procedures are applied
Arcus will support you through full training
What will you need
- Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on-the-job training will be supplied
- An eye for detail and cleanliness
- A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service
- Please note you will need to provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access our Arcus Connect App for recording time and attendance (this is a condition of employment)
