Global Insurance in the City of London is seeking to recruit a Senior Treaty Claims specialist for their expanding team.
North American Property and or Casualty experience.
Demonstrate in depth technical knowledge of insurance and or reinsurance business.
Treaty knowledge, and experience of industry standard reinsurance concepts, principles, laws, regulatory requirements, and general business trends.
Track record of successful client account management, relationship management, engagement, and development
Strong verbal and writing skills for the communication of complex claims issues, presentations and negotiations with clients, markets, and GC colleagues at all levels.
Extensive knowledge of all aspects of the reinsurance transaction. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications β specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint is required.
Demonstrate inclusive collaboration with peers on complex or contentious reinsurance developments.
Support and provide training, coaching and guidance within the team and/or department for all aspects of reinsurance service provision and problem solving.
Ensure assigned tasks are managed effectively, with clear and concise communication of progress and in a timely manner to all relevant stakeholders.
Promote new process improvement ideas leveraging technology solutions and value-added product solutions.
Participate in team and department meetings and activities to share opinions, ideas, and knowledge.
Maintain strong working relationships and participate in initiatives and/or contribute where required to deliver outcomes.
Seek opportunities to increase own understanding and improve the services provided.
Develop and deliver technical training on a range of reinsurance matters affecting todayβs business, including but not limited to claims and contract specific issues and forward-thinking potential risks.
