Role Purpose
Would you like to make a difference in the lives of children and young people in the Scottish Borders? Are you passionate about teaching, learning, and inclusion? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated BGE Class Teacher (Curriculum & Transition) to join us on a full-time, temporary basis.
Jedburgh Grammar Campus has a current roll of 915 students and was established in 2020, bringing together the town\’s ELC setting, primary and secondary schools, along with a new enhanced provision for secondary-aged learners. The campus aims to be a community asset delivering benefits to health, wellbeing, and learning opportunities across Jedburgh and surrounding rural communities, encapsulated in our vision \’Learning without limits\’. The development of the campus was a collaborative effort involving the school, community, Scottish Borders Council, and most importantly, our young people.
The core values—kindness, respect, achievement, wellbeing, and learning—were established through consultation with pupils, parents, staff, and community members and are shared across the cluster. Our rural location offers excellent opportunities for indoor and outdoor learning, supported by flexible spaces and state-of-the-art technology. We work closely with partner agencies supporting our children and families, fostering a caring, supportive community. Building positive relationships is central to our approach.
