We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Growth and Partnerships Manager to join our dynamic team in Worcester. Our team is at the forefront of managing mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, investments and strategic partnerships driving the Group\’s strategic growth. Additionally, we undertake various ad hoc projects where research, financial and industry analysis and project management skills are essential to our success.
The ideal candidate will be someone with a finance or legal background with some experience of project management, transactions and knowledge of the sectors in which we operate. The role has potential to provide a strong development opportunity for someone looking to progress their career and truly understand our Group and its strategic activities.
The role of Growth and Partnerships Manager will include:
- Supporting with delivery of the Growth and Partnerships team objectives which involves introducing investment opportunities and managing divestments as part of Sanctuary Group’s growth and restructuring activities
- Producing reports and analysis to support the review of potential opportunities
- Completion of improvement projects through research or direct management where appropriate
- Managing and reviewing due diligence for potential mergers and acquisitions, project managing disposal and integration programmes and activities
- Supporting with legal negotiations associated with delivery of mergers, acquisitions and divestments
- Managing and developing business processes and financial models to improve business performance and support the decision making processes
- Developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders, identifying any shortfalls in service delivery ensuring they are dealt with appropriately and delivering high quality customer service
Skills and experiences:
- ACCA, ACA or CIMA finance professional qualification is preferrable
- Advanced skills in Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Recent experience of undertaking a similar role and delivering successful outcomes
- An understanding of commercial transactions, the due diligence and acquisition process
- Programme management experience would be desirable
- Good interpersonal, organisation and time management skills are essential

- Role salary is £44,192 with an additional policy allowance of £4,861 per annum (rising to £46,517 with an additional policy allowance of £5,116 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
- If qualified Accountant role salary is £44,192 with an additional policy allowance of £9,280 per annum (rising to £46,517 with an additional policy allowance of £9,768 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
