The Trade Marketing Manager will lead the execution of the trade and consumer marketing plans and activities in the UK and Ireland. This role reports to the Director of Marketing for Europe and is part of a Global Marketing organization with a global to local strategic approach, many marketing activities will be following the guidance and strategy from the Global Marketing team, whereas other activities are 100% local based on local need. The Trade Marketing Manager will be responsible for the project management and development of wide-ranging cross-channel marketing communications, and communication materials including email marketing, direct mail, trade flyers, and brochures targeting various Silversea segments B2B and B2C. In addition, the person in this role will be responsible for managing the local trade marketing activities including developing the B2B trade advertising campaigns, managing trade Social Media page, support trade events and trade shows, support the Sales Organization
with marketing requests, among other things., Trade Marketing
Trade Advertising: Lead activity with local industry trade organizations and manage UK & Ireland trade media strategy and execution, including recommending key events for Silversea to participate in.
Social media: manage the trade social media closed Facebook group.
Trade EM: From time to time, develop ad-hoc emails as needed to communicate and engage with trade partners.
Trade shows and Exhibitions
Responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of all exhibitions stands in the UK & Ireland, both consumer and trade.
Consumer Email & Direct Mail
Manage the print production and fulfilment of a high volume of direct mail pieces.
Coordinate co-branded Direct Mail with travel partners, execute and track results.
Manage and develop ad-hoc local emails which are normally complementary to the global emails. EM are briefed to the global CRM team who execute the EM development.
Budget Management
Track/manage and forecast the UK & Ireland marketing budget.
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in a marketing execution role.
Experience with B2B and/or B2C marketing campaigns, including email, direct mail, social media, and marketing automation platforms.
Ability to understand a global ultra-luxury brand and how to market to high-net worth individuals. Luxury marketing experience a plus.
Knowledge of/Experience with strategic marketing processes and working with creative teams/agencies.
Strong collaborator and communicator, effectively working across the organization – ability to navigate a dynamic and demanding environment.
Strong project management skills, multitasks, prioritizes, and meets deadlines promptly.
Comfortable with accountability for metrics and revenue.
Demonstrated ability to achieve breakthrough results through the course of work.
Ability to build strong working relationships with sales counterparts.
Be able to communicate, concisely and accurately, orally and in writing.
Strong organizational skills and follow-through.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
