This is a great opportunity to join a niche company based in Wiltshire, you will be leading their Quality department. You will remain hands on with Inspections, using a variety of metrology equipment, whilst doing the reporting side aswell.
The Role
- Leading the Quality department.
- Compilation of detailed ISIRs (Initial Sample Inspection Reports).
- Managing 1 inspector : potential to grow team in future.
- Inspecting fuel system components.
- Using a range of metrology equipment, verniers, calipers, micrometers etc.
- Identifying and then investigating all non:conforming parts, including preparing NCRs.
- Overall control for all inspection of parts received from suppliers.
- Work closely with the production and R and amp;D teams to streamline processes.
The Candidate
- 3 years experience in Inspection.
- Experience in mentoring/supporting junior colleagues would be a distinct advantage,
- Experience using a variety of metrology equipment.
- QC focused, not strictly QA : need to be happy with hands on inspection.
- Knowledge/Experience of fuel systems would be advantageous.
