About The Role

We’re looking for a Paralegal Assistant to join our Datchet Head Office team (SL3 9JT), working 40 hours per week.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a paralegal or trainee solicitor to work in-house for one of the UK’s fastest-growing FM businesses. Reporting directly to the Legal Director and working closely with Senior Management, you’ll support a wide range of legal matters across the business.
Your responsibilities will include managing commercial contract matters, handling commercial disputes through ADR and litigation, overseeing debt recovery action for bad debts, and supporting the HR department with employment law issues. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the Legal department delivers a high-quality, efficient service to internal stakeholders.
Salary: £25,000 – £27,000.

About You

You’ll be a motivated and detail-focused legal professional with:

  • A qualifying Law Degree (LLB Hons) or GDL, plus the LPC or SQE.

  • At least six months’ experience in some or all of the following areas: company commercial, commercial ADR/litigation, and employment law.

  • Strong knowledge of commercial and contract law, debt recovery processes, and commercial litigation including the Civil Procedure Rules.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organisational ability, and the confidence to work both independently and proactively.

  • Proven ability to work well under pressure, maintain outstanding attention to detail, and manage multiple priorities.

  • A customer-focused, commercial mindset with excellent Excel and general IT skills.

You’ll also be enthusiastic, confident, and keen to learn, with a good sense of humour and the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business. Experience in debt recovery will enable you to hit the ground running.
