The role of Legal Assistant – Disrepairs will include:

  • Coordinate an effective legal administration service to include raising payment requests, preparing files and instructions for Costs Draftsman
  • Monitoring works post settlement ensuring all records of transactions and related activity are maintained accurately to demonstrate corporate compliance
  • Process new Disrepairs claims to include the opening and closing of files
  • Monitoring of the teams shared inbox
  • Maintain accurate, accessible and up-to-date data on disrepair claims and related KPIs for auditing and provide reports for management
  • Obtaining and analysing records from databases and individuals and co-ordinating the redaction of the same
  • Skills and experiences:

  • Proven experience within a similar administrative role is essential
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines and being able to prioritise workloads is essential
  • Outstanding communication and customer care skills
  • Proficient user of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
