Job Description

Responsibilities
You will assist in the provision of an efficient administrative and technical support service to the Planning Team in the City Development Department. The functions include consultations and administration of applications for consent to develop under the Town & Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 (as amended) and related legislation, along with other general matters arising from the Authority\’s Statutory Planning functions.
You will also assist with a quality control and management audit of all the Support Team processes and ensure excellent customer service delivery in conjunction with the Council\’s Customer Service Team and the Support Team.
The Individual
You will have a sound understanding and relevant experience of general office administration, experience in dealing with members of the public, and delivering high-quality customer care. You will also have experience in using Microsoft Office suite and other similar IT packages, demonstrate attention to detail, achieve high accuracy, and be willing to learn new skills under supervision.
