Assistant Financial Accountant

Location: This is a hybrid role, offering a combination of working remotely and from our Corby office. The role is offered on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract basis.

What You Will Be Doing

• Manage and maintain fixed asset registers for EMEA and Group entities, including month‑end and year‑end processes in SAP.
• Oversee treasury‑related postings including accruals and prepayments and monthly reconciliations, ensuring accurate financial records.
• Coordinate quarterly key controls checks (KCC) by working closely with our internal team.
• Manage VAT reporting and support training across EMEA teams.
• Liaise with external and internal auditors, providing documentation and supporting audit processes.
• Assist with national statistics reporting, inventory analysis, and offer flexible support to wider business functions.

About You

• Ideally, you’ll bring experience using SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Relevant accounting qualification (AAT level 4 minimum or graduate level).
• A naturally positive outlook with a drive for continuous improvement and high performance.
• Personable and team‑oriented, you enjoy collaborating and supporting others.
• A confident communicator, comfortable building strong relationships across a matrixed organisation.
