Job Opportunity: Vehicle Technician at Lookers Audi Hamilton

Salary: £33,000 – £35,000 basic salary with an OTE of up to £41,600

Hours: Monday – Thursday 8.00 – 17.00, Friday 8.00 – 16.30, Saturday on Rota basis as overtime

Lookers Audi Hamilton is recruiting for a Technician to join their workshop. You will work alongside experienced technicians, performing vehicle health checks, services, and repairs using the latest technology.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will receive ongoing support, training, and career progression opportunities, including manufacturer accredited schemes and Hybrid & Electric training.

We seek qualified Vehicle Technicians or experienced Mechanics, whether from dealer groups or independent garages, to deliver first-class customer service and be part of our success.

Responsibilities

1. Perform vehicle health checks using advanced technology
2. Conduct vehicle services according to manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
3. Carry out additional repairs with customer approval
4. Complete warranty repairs following manufacturer guidelines and proper documentation
5. Road test vehicles to ensure faults are rectified
6. Accurately complete all relevant paperwork

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a mechanic, be self-motivated, ambitious, eager to learn, and able to work to high standards. A full UK driving license and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification are required.

Experience with the Audi brand is advantageous but not essential, as full brand accreditation training can be provided. An MOT license is essential for this role.
