JOB TITLE: Senior Support Worker
LOCATION: Charminster, Dorset BH8
SALARY: Ā£14.40 – Ā£15.00* per hour
About Eilat
We are looking for fun and passionate people to join us at Eilat, our service in Charminster, Dorset. At Eilat, we support 7 adults with Acquired Brain Injuries, as well as support with everyday living skills like shopping, cleaning and cooking our staff support people to have fun and make every day the best it can be for each person.
We work alongside people to help them build their future and increase personal empowerment. We support people to access training, volunteering, education and where possible employment opportunities. Everyone is encouraged to engage in their local community and learn and practise new skills and supported to rediscover skills which may have previously been lost.
Many of our Managers and Team Leaders joined us as a Support Worker and through ongoing training and coaching they are continuing to move further up the accomplish ladder!
As a Senior Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including
- Managing a team of Support Workers
- Providing high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans
- Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
- Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
- Liaise with health professionals and their families
- Complete supervisions and audits
- To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home.
