About the Role

Loreto College is seeking two Student Support Officers to provide dedicated one-to-one support to students who are vulnerable or have emerging wellbeing or welfare needs. Responsibilities include offering study support appointments to help students improve organisation and time management skills, supporting their academic achievement.

Each officer will work collaboratively within the Student Services team in the vibrant Student Services hub, delivering excellent care and support to promote student wellbeing and resilience. This involves arranging and conducting one-to-one appointments, providing advice and guidance, and signposting to appropriate resources or external support, including Early Help Assessments and referrals to Mental Health Teams.

Safeguarding and Team Responsibilities

You will work closely with the College Safeguarding Team, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures. As part of the Student Services Support Team, you will contribute to the college’s ethos and values, undertaking training to stay informed on safeguarding themes and young people\’s welfare needs.
