This is a permanent, full-time position working in our busy Early Learning Centre (ELC) during lunch hours, Monday to Thursday from 10:00 to 12:30.

Job Details:

  • Grade: 6C
  • Hourly Rate: £16.34 – £17.65
  • Salary: £7,362.33 – £7,952.35 per annum
  • Hours: 10 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to all aspects of childcare and education in the ELC setting.
  • Participate in other duties as required to support the team and improve outcomes for young learners.

Qualifications:

  • At least one of the following:
  • HNC in Childhood Practice/Childcare & Education
  • SVQ Social Services (Children & Young People) SCQF 7 / SVQ 3 Children\’s Care, Learning & Development
  • Applicants with SNNEB/NNEB may be considered if they demonstrate ongoing CPD during the past 5 years.

All successful applicants will be required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of appointment and maintain registration during employment.
