We\’re currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering business in the aerospace sector, seeking a skilled CNC Programmer, Setter, Operator (Milling) to join their night shift team based in Wolverhampton.

About The Role
This is a hands-on role where you\’ll be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines to manufacture high-precision components to exacting aerospace standards. You\’ll be part of a safety-first, quality-driven production environment with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines to produce aerospace-grade components.
- Interpret technical drawings and cutting patterns to maximise material utilisation and minimise waste.
- Ensure all products are handled and identified in line with internal procedures and customer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records using computer-based stock control systems.
- Support the training and development of other operatives.
- Promote and maintain safe working practices in line with Health & Safety legislation.
What We\’re Looking For
Essential
- Proven experience in CNC programming, setting, and operating (milling).
- Strong understanding of raw materials and machining processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- PC literate and confident with documentation and stock control systems.
- Self-motivated, diligent, and quality-focused.
Desirable
- Counterbalance forklift licence.
- Machine maintenance experience.
- Background in aerospace or precision engineering.
